Women into Construction

Women - staff
As a platinum member, Hill has the support of Women into Construction (WiC) when organising work placements and employment.

The not-for-profit organisation provides bespoke support for women who wish to or currently work in the construction industry, helping to reduce skill gaps and create a more gender balanced workforce.

Women into Construction offers CV writing skills, interview techniques, mentorship and CITB-funded construction related training, and puts together an action plan for individuals actively looking for a career in construction. Working with WiC, we have been able to offer our first group of work placements across a number of our Cambridge Investment Partnership developments!

The work placements consist of either 2-6 weeks full time or 4-13 weeks part time, working two days per week, with expenses including fares, childcare and PPE paid for.

To find out how you could start your career at Hill with the support of Women into Construction, send Hill’s WiC Project Coordinator an email: [email protected]
