Hill picks up three awards at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards

We had a fantastic time at Friday’s London Evening Standard New Home Awards, picking up three awards!

These included winning the top prize in the Best Out of London Home category for our Ninewells development in Cambridge, which was also highly commended in the Best Family Home category. Our Spiller’s Mill development in Cambridge also received the judges’ praise, and was highly commended in the highly competitive Best Conversion category.

Ninewells, a landmark development of 270 new homes in the southern fringe of Cambridge, scored highly with the judging panel for taking traditional East-Anglian barn design and adding a modern twist. The Ninewells development is designed to bring its residents closer to nature and the impressive five bedroom detached properties that make up our Elite Collection caught the judges’ attention for their spectacular views of the surrounding Gog Magog Downs.

With such great countryside on its doorstep, it’s also no surprise that Ninewells was highly commended for the Best Family Home category too. The spacious interiors at Ninewells are designed for modern family-living, while unique family-friendly features such as our townhouses with separate studios make Ninewells the perfect new home for families.

We were also delighted to receive an award for our work with heritage buildings, with our Spiller’s Mill development being highly commended by judges in the Best Conversion category. The development, opposite to Cambridge rail station, saw the conversion of a historic mill into nineteen stunning apartments and duplexes.
