Hill is highly commended at the Housebuilder Awards 2019!
Last night was the annual Housebuilder Awards and we are delighted to announce that we walked away with three highly commended accolades!
The first award of the evening was for our Fish Island Village team who were highly commended in the Best Marketing Initiative. The joint venture development with Peabody implemented a unique campaign which reflected the developments values of vibrant, authentic and eclectic, and championed the local creative community. This isn’t the first award given to the marketing campaign at Fish Island Village – it was also named Best Marketing Campaign at the National Housing Awards 2019!
The Avenue houses at Athena, our collection of sustainable new homes in Eddington, Cambridge, was highly commended for Best Design Three Storeys or Fewer. The 4-bedroom family homes include a private courtyard, a dedicated utility room and a first floor terrace, and also include a range of sustainable features, from solar panels and MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery) units to being able to benefit from Eddington’s site-wide initiatives, including the UK’s largest rain water recycling system.
The final accolade Hill received was highly commended for our Management Trainee Programme in the Best Training or Recruitment Initiative category. Our Management Trainee Programme is dedicated to developing the construction industry’s next generation of talent, and enables young people to gain the critical industry skills and experience they need while being paid a competitive wage and completing a BSc (Hons) degree!
Congratulations to all of our teams involved in each project for these accolades!
