Hill Springs into Action with Series of Seasonal Events

Warmer sunshine, colourful buds on flowers and bushes, and the sound of lawnmowers springing to life. Spring has made its presence known over the past few weeks, so the Hill team have embraced all that the season has to offer, through a series of local community events.

Egg-citing Easter Events

Peter Rabbit popped up at both our Millside Grange development in Croxley Green and Hartley Acres in Cranbrook on 23rd March 2024, as families joined in Easter egg hunts in the spring sunshine. With homes ranging from two to five bedrooms, to accommodate families of all shapes and sizes, both developments have a lovely community feel. Their smaller residents (and some of the not-so-small ones too) enjoyed hunting down Easter treats in the picturesque surroundings. Cue plenty of delighted squeals and happy, chocolatey faces!

A Spot of Culture in Cambridge

Over in Eddington, we are proud to be part of the Cambridge Standing Tall exhibition, which began on 21st March and runs until 2nd June. The exhibition, organised by local charity Break, which works to raise aspirations for Cambridgeshire care leavers, has delivered 31 beautifully decorated giraffes to Cambridge, along with more than 60 ‘Mini Gs’ created by local community groups and schools.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor ‘Giraffodil’ – the stunning giraffe created by talented artist Sally Adams. Located outside the marketing suite at Knights Park in Eddington, which is home to a striking collection of exceptional, energy-efficient homes, Giraffodil beautifully reflects the open green space and ecology of the development.

On 21st March, we unveiled Giraffodil in all her awesome glory, ready for all those in the local area to enjoy Sally’s superb artwork over the coming weeks. And, of course, to come and discover the wonderful commitment to nature and ecology that underpins the whole of our Knights Park development.

If you haven’t already, make sure you pay a visit to see Giraffodil and the Standing Tall exhibition!

Celebrating Community in Finchingfield and Great Chesterford

This spring, we also held highly successful Community Get Together events at our Eden Green development in Finchingfield and Chesterford Meadows in Great Chesterford.

Eden Green is home to a collection of spacious houses with three-, four- and five-bedrooms, many with a double-fronted layout that captures the essence of traditional design. The development has proven popular with local families, and we were delighted to welcome them along to enjoy live music from Charlotte Awbery on 13th April, along with food and refreshments courtesy of The Fox on the Green pub and face painting for the smallest attendees.

Chesterford Meadows comprises a beautiful range of three-, four- and five-bedroom houses located in the stunning Essex countryside. It is ideal for those who are looking for an aspirational, rural lifestyle with exceptional transport links for commuting. The recent event that took place on 6th April was a huge hit with locals and families and featured an appearance of the character Chase from the hit children’s TV show Paw Patrol, as well as delicious food and drink stalls.

At both events, we were joined by an expert financial advisor, who was on hand to answer financial queries from anyone looking to buy a new home. We also invited visitors to step inside our lovely show homes, with our sales team providing tours to show off a selection of the house types available at both developments.
