The University of Cambridge has awarded Hill the contract to build part of the first phase open market housing on the North West Cambridge Development.

An outstanding and ambitious project by the University of Cambridge that includes new homes for both open market sale and qualifying University and Colleges employees, a primary school run by the University, research space plus community facilities such as a nursery, a doctors surgery, community centre, supermarket and retail units, and open green space.

Hill will be providing up to 249 new homes in the first phase, ranging from studio apartments to five bedroom detached family houses; offering high quality contemporary exteriors designed by renowned architects Alison Brooks and Pollard Thomas Edwards, all constructed to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5 and offering stunning interior spaces and specifications. In addition, North West Cambridge Development places you in an excellent location with the City centre only a few miles away and easy access to the M11.

Andy Hill, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to be selected by the University to assist in achieving its ambition of a world leading exemplar development at North West Cambridge.
