Walthamstow has got its first cinema in 12 years, courtesy of our flagship development The Scene!
With new restaurants, shops and 121 new apartments, as well as the 1,200 seat Empire cinema, The Scene is going to transform Walthamstow town centre into a vibrant new destination address.
Sitting at the top of Europe’s longest street market, on the corner of Hoe Street and the High Street, The Scene is part of a large scale regeneration programme in Walthamstow. Not only has the cinema created 35 permanent jobs, but the additional shops and restaurants will lead to the creation of over 100 jobs and wider economic growth.
The apartments are proving to be very popular and are already 50% sold! Young professionals are attracted by the excellent commuter links – being just walking distance from Walthamstow station which has regular tubes, buses and trains connecting residents to London and further afield.
