Buying is a walk in the park at Ilan Square
Meet Ben Welling, a first time buyer who was able to purchase his beautiful new apartment at Ilan Square in London with the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
It is hard to make that first step onto the property ladder, especially in London, but incentives such as Help to Buy are providing a much needed lifeline. With this scheme you only need to save a 5% deposit and the Government provides a 20% equity loan, with the remaining 75% of the purchase covered by the mortgage.
I read about Help to Buy in the papers and thought I would see what was available and the whole ‘admin’ process was incredibly easy. I couldn’t believe my luck when I realised I could buy at Ilan Square through the scheme, the development is really impressive and in a great location.
Ilan Square is a stunning collection of 107 one, two and three bedroom apartments overlooking the leafy Clapton Common in London. Each property has its own outside space in the shape of a private balcony or a terrace, and there is also a communal cycle store for residents.
There are just two apartments left for sale at Ilan Square, priced from £440,000, but we also recently started work on another new development of 65 new apartments in the neighbouring Stamford Hill. For more information contact the sales team on 0344 225 3844 or visit www.hill.co.uk
