Family of four fall head over ‘hills’ for Alchester Park
Purchasing a family home in Chesterton, Oxfordshire, was, quite literally, a walk in the park for the Brennan family, after they fell in love with one of our new developments.
Paul Brennan and his partner Alex, along with their two year old daughter Connie, and sixth month old baby Sophie, fell head over ‘hills’ for a three bedroom home in Alchester Park, after their purchase on an older character property nearby fell through.
Having lived in Chesterton for 8 years and wanting to remain in the area, it was the big plot sizes, the village location and access to fantastic primary schools that drew the family’s attention to the Alchester Park development.
As a carpenter and construction manager, a quality home is really important to me. Although we were initially interested in purchasing an older property in the village, when our sale fell through we explored alternative options and discovered that a new build home suited our options far more. The huge plot size gives us the option of later extending should we ever need to and we’re now able to move straight in without having to undertake any dusty renovations or improvements.
Alchester Park is a unique development of just 29 houses, ranging in size from two to five bedrooms set within a mature landscaped setting. They also all have private gardens and access to great facilities which lie adjacent to Alchester Park. These include football and cricket pitches, a well-equipped children’s play area and the new community centre. In addition, Bicester Village with its plethora of shops and restaurants is just a five minute drive away.
Prices at Alchester Park start from £362,500 for a three bedroom house. The sales suite is open from Thursday through to Monday from 10am to 5:30pm.
