At Hill, we are passionate about encouraging young people into the Housebuilding industry, and believe that our Management Trainee Programme will provide you with the skills and qualifications needed for an exceptional professional career.
Housebuilding is one of the UK’s largest industries and as an award-winning Housebuilder, we believe that trainees are the future of our company. Since we launched the programme in 2003, we have had over 130 trainees, and in the last two years 50% of our graduates achieved First Class Honours!
As a trainee, you will be enrolled on an accredited degree course and will work towards a BSc(Hons) degree, all while earning a competitive salary. During term time, you will work for four days a week alongside experienced employees, and attend university on the fifth day. We will assign you a mentor to guide and assist you with career progression, and during your first year you will you rotate through a variety of departments within Hill.
Not only will you have the opportunity to experience hands-on training and on-the-job experience, but you will have the chance to be rewarded with pay rises, as well as having the opportunity to benefit from a company car and fuel card. Trainee’s also get to enjoy an annual Trainee Development Day, and are guaranteed a job after graduation.

- Trainee Architectural Technician (Cambridge)
