Triumph at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards
We are immensely proud that three of our developments were awarded accolades at the prestigious London Evening Standard New Homes Awards on Friday.
The New Homes Awards celebrates the crème de la crème of the new homes industry, with all of the top housebuilders from across the country competing for the prestigious prizes. Despite the stiff competition, two of our developments were crowned Best First Time Buyer Home and Best Eco-Living Home, with a third being highly commended in the Best Luxury Home category.
243 Ealing Road, a collection of 441 apartments situated alongside the Grand Union Canal, was named Best First-Time Buyer Home, which was a fiercely contested category. A joint venture development with Network Living, the homes are part of a £500 million regeneration programme in Alperton and represent a great long term investment for buyers. Prices in the current phase start at £254,950 for a studio apartment and we have a range of incentives available to help people looking to get on the housing ladder. You can read about one buyer’s experience buying her first home there at our previous blog.
Our Virido concept home in Cambridge knocked competitors out of the park for the Best Eco-Living Award. The eco-friendly house in Trumpington has been built in advance of the larger Virido site, which is currently under construction. As this is one of the largest zero carbon developments in the UK we were keen to make sure green technology in the homes was exactly what homeowners were looking for, so we are trialling the design on a family of the future! The Rayners have been living in the eco-home for the last five months and will be blogging about their experiences throughout the year.
And last, but certainly not least, Woodstock House in Esher, Surrey was Highly Commended for Best Luxury Home Award. The property is one of two 6,600-square-foot homes on our Sandown Road development and Blenheim House, with its stunning architecture, six bedrooms and home cinema, is still available for £3,950,000.
As the awards season gets into full swing we hope this is just the start of many accolades for 2015!
